TEDxBroadway returned for its second event, with a whole new cast of luminaries from on and off the famous New York stage.
Audiences watched as social media expert Randi Zuckerberg, Disney Theatrical Group President Thomas Schumacher, actor George Takei, Wall Street Journal theater critic Terry Teachout, and many others came together to share ideas on how to make Broadway -- the area and the industry -- the best it can be.

TEDxAIMS

Held at The African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS), TEDxAIMS explored ways to navigate the ideas of the future, starting with ones coming to rise in their hometown of Cape Town.
Speakers included the founder of an on-demand book printing service that turns any South African copy shop into a virtual bookstore, as well as Isla Haddow-Flood, a key player in developing WikiAfrica, an initiative to add more African voices and information to Wikipedia.

TEDxChicuque

The first TEDx event in Mozambique, TEDxChicuque was first designed as a “TEDx in a Box” event -- an TEDx initiative designed to support TEDx events in developing communities.
But when the TEDx in a Box arrived from customs without all of its needed parts, organizer Dhairya Pujara was afraid TEDxChicuque wouldn’t come together. His worries were squelched quickly, however, as local businesses soon came together to support the event’s needs. In the end, three speakers greeted an audience of 60, speaking to the unique ideas worth spreading in Mozambique.
