193 Special Operations Wing employs EC-130J aircraft conducting psychological operations Geographically seperated units of the 193 SOW are located at Fort Indiantown Gap. Those Units are: o 148 Air Support Operations Squadron conducts mission planning and coordination of air power supporting Army ground maneuvers with USAF assets o 201 RED HORSE Squadron provides heavy construction and repair capability o 211Engineering Installation Squadron encompasses a broad variety of telecommunication systems. o 271 Combat Communications Squadron deploys and operates mobile command and control nets. o 203 Weather Flight forecasts meteorological conditions for air and ground mission coordination

<p>Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) Specialists are the most skilled and courageous Airmen in the entire Air National Guard. They are Ranger and Airborne qualified, proficient in air assault, scuba operation, and various parachute tactics, and maintain the highest physical and mental standards. You'll find TACP Specialists imbedded on the front lines of war among Army and Marine Special Force units to provide U.S. and allied forces with tactical air support for ground attack fighters. <p>As a Pavement and Construction Equipment Specialist you'll maintain and operate heavy construction equipment to support the mission by constructing and maintaining concrete and asphalt runways, aircraft parking aprons, and roads.  The special projects you work on could be anything from building an entire air base, to constructing emergency disaster relief facilities, to erecting high-tech security fences.
