Students attending this multi-modal course will be instructed on the hazardous materials regulations of 49 CFR for highway, rail, aircraft, the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Technical Instructions (along with the industry standards issued in the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and Dangerous Goods Regulations) for commercial air shipments. This course will also include instruction on how to ship hazmat via Military Air.
Who Should Attend?
Military, contract and industry personnel who ship, carry or otherwise handle hazardous material shipments intended to travel by commercial aircraft or ground transportation and those subject to AFMAN 24-204(i).
