Press Release #12-045 Landscaping work to begin along Camp Pendleton Oceanside border

MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON, Ca. - --

CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. – Workers at Camp Pendleton have begun a series of landscaping projects along the Base’s border with Oceanside which will last into November 2012.

 

Workers are conducting brush clearing activities along the perimeter fence line area located between the Base's Wire Mountain II family housing area and a portion of the North Oceanside Terrace neighborhood.  All brush clearing activity is taking place on the Camp Pendleton side of our common boundary area.

 

Additionally, workers are spraying weed control herbicides along the Base boundary area located near the newly constructed San Rafael Child Development Center (CDC).
