What is U.S. Travel's International Pow Wow?

Not A Typical Trade Show

U.S. Travel's International Pow Wow is the travel industry's premier international marketplace and is the largest generator of Visit USA travel - it is NOT a typical trade show. In just three days of intensive pre-scheduled, computer-generated business appointments, more than 1,000 U. S. travel organizations from every region of the USA, and representing all industry category components, and close to 1,500 International and Domestic Buyers from more than 70 countries, conduct business negotiations that result in the generation of over $3.5 billion in future Visit USA travel. At International Pow Wow, buyers and sellers are able to conduct business that would otherwise be generated only through an exhaustive number of around-the-world trips. If your organization is a qualified U.S. Travel Association Member or attended International Pow Wow in 2009, you will receive login codes to submit your International Pow Wow 2010 registration online in the fall of 2009. 

U.S. Travel's International Pow Wow Delivers Premier International and Domestic Buyers

International Pow Wow's success is dependent on the quality and quantity of International and Domestic Buyers that it attracts. With input from both the International Advisory Committees and U.S. Suppliers, International and Domestic Buyer delegates are invited to participate in International Pow Wow and are pre-qualified based on their proven capability to sell the USA as a travel destination.

The Top Travel Journalists Attend

International Pow Wow is also an opportunity for unique news coverage for USA travel destinations and products. Over 450 travel journalists from over 40 countries participated in International Pow Wow 2009 in Miami. Great opportunities exist for destination and product articles to appear in major trade and consumer publications.

International Pow Wow Business Appointments

To help each attending organization make the most of their time, business appointments at International Pow Wow are pre-scheduled in advance by a computer program based on International and Domestic Buyer and Exhibitor requests. All requests are submitted via powwowonline.com. Exhibitors can pre-schedule up to 44 appointments per booth (not per delegate). International and Domestic Buyers can schedule up to 44 appointments per delegate.
