In my February 3, 2004, transmission of deliverable 4.6.1 of the Department’s implementation plan for Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board Recommendation 2002-3 we advised you that by February 27, 2004, we would transmit the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) portion of the commitment or advise you of the date by which we would provide it.

The initial LANL response received in late February was incomplete and has been returned to the contractor for further action. We plan to transmit the LANL portion of deliverable 4.6.1 by March 31, 2004.
