Common Access Card (CAC) Services

What we do:

The Commander Navy Installations Command Support Center (CNICSC) offers navigational assistance, and troubleshooting for the following applications: Foodservice, Card Maintenance Utility, CAC Pin Reset, Personnel Accountability System, Contractor Verification System, and Weapons Issuance. The Customer Service Representatives are trained to troubleshoot hardware malfunctions, software application errors, and database errors within the six applications.

Information:

Card Maintenance utility (CMU) is an application used to update cardholder information on Common Access Cards (CAC), Joint Services cards and Multi-technology Automated Reader (MARC) smart cards. These smart cards act as portable storage devices that prevent unauthorized reading of, or changes to, the data it carries, allowing for extremely high levels of security.

CAC Pin Reset (CPR) is the system designed to securely solve the PIN reset problem, using commercial off the shelf (COTS) hardware over a client/server network. The Common Access Card (CAC) Personal Identification Number (PIN) reset system (CPR) was developed to provide a portable, flexible, single purpose system, capable of providing the PIN reset capability to the field in a myriad of operating environments.

Trusted Associate Sponsorship System (TASS) is a web-based application used to automate the process of authorizing issuance of a CAC to a DoD contractor. CVS is sponsored and supported by the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) and ultimately automates the DD Form 1172-2.

Personnel Accountability System (PAS) provides the war-fighter the capability to automate the accountability process onboard a naval vessel, base or squadron. PAS is a user-friendly, cost effective application that reduces manpower and paperwork requirements on the brow and in the duty office.
