The attached document was released by the DoD CIO on Oct 26, 2006. The document identifies 9 Areas for Focus where additional focus is needed to achieve the Department's Net-Centric vision. It also recommends actions within each area for Focus that will enable the transformation of DoD from platform/organization-centric to net-centric operations.
