Ambassador Victoria Nuland to give presentation about “year of Balkan opportunity”

An interagency U.S. Government delegation headed by Ambassador Victoria Nuland, the Permanent Representative of the United States to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), is visiting Macedonia on November 8 for consultations with top state officials and members of Parliament on Macedonia's progress in meeting the standards outlined in its NATO Membership Action Plan and other topics of bilateral significance. 

During the visit Ambassador Nuland will speak about the “Year of Balkan Opportunity,” at an event organized by the Macedonian American Alumni Association (MAAA).  The event will be held from 17:15 to 18:15, on Thursday, November 8, at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Skopje.  Invitees include government officials, foreign diplomats, members of civil society, university students and the media.
