1st Infantry Division
"Big Red One - Danger Forward"
 
 
"Danger Forward" is the name given to the 1st Infantry Division when it is forward deployed from its home base at Fort Riley, Kan. The 1st Infantry Division Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion (DHHB) cased its colors on March 7, 2012, and is in the process of deploying to eastern Afghanistan, where it will soon take over as the headquarters for Regional Command-East.
