Description
This course is designed for newly appointed Joint Capability Technology Demonstrations (JCTD) Team members. The course will cover the objectives of a JCTD, the associated processes and the resources to conduct a JCTD. Topics include: Strategic Overview and Processes; Service JCTD Processes; Funding; Intro to JCIDS, PPBE and Defense Acquisition System; Roles of OE, OM, TM and XM; Training Opportunities; Assessment and Development Group; and KIMS.

  • Operation of the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System
  • Role of systems engineering, PPBE, and logistics in JCTD management
  • DoD Risk Management requirements

  • Experiences from successful transition managers
  • Target Attendees
    Newly appointed members of JCTD teams (technical, operational and transition managers) who need additional knowledge on the demands of the acquisition environment and who want more information on DDR&E expectations regarding JCTD management.
