Military OneSource
Provides free help and information, by phone with a professionally trained consultant or online, on a wide range of issues that affect you and your family -- from budgeting and investing to relationships and deployment. It's available whenever you are -- 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Marine Corps Family Team Building (MCFTB)
Provides educational resources and services to foster personal growth and enhance the readiness of Marine Corps families. MCFTB is comprised of: Family Readiness Program Training; Readiness and Deployment Support Training; Lifestyle Insights, Networking, Knowledge and Skills (L.I.N.K.S.); and LifeSkills Training.
Lifestyle, Insight, Networking, Knowledge and Skills (LINKS)
Offers an orientation to the Marine Corps lifestyle, helping spouses, Marines, children and teens, and parents/extended family members understand and adapt to the unique challenges military life often presents. While the curriculum targets those who are new to the Marine Corps community, the information is very beneficial at all levels of Marine Corps experience.
New Parent Support Program
Offers in-home visits, parenting education, support groups, and information and referral for the Marine Corps community who are expecting a child or who are parenting young children up to six years of age. The New Parent Support Program is comprised of a team of Registered Nurses Licensed, Clinical Social Workers and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists who are experienced in newborn care, infant/child development, and parent education.
Navy and Marine Corps Relief Society
Offers a variety of services to Marines and Sailors, both active duty and retired, and their families to include: financial assistance based on need; Visiting Nurse Program; well baby clinic; children's waiting rooms at medical facilities; budget counseling; and thrift shops.
American Red Cross
Offers compassionate services in five critical areas: community services that help the needy; support and comfort for military members and their families; the collection, processing and distribution of lifesaving blood and blood products; educational programs that promote health and safety; and international relief and development programs.
Families OverComing Under Stress FOCUS
A resiliency-training program for military families and children to help them meet the challenges of combat operational stress during wartime. Resiliency is the ability to effectively cope with, adapt to, and overcome adversity, stress, and challenging experiences.
Family Advocacy Program and Military Family Life Consultants
The Family Advocacy Program (FAP) is a congressionally mandated program intended to prevent and reduce the incidence of family violence, helping to create an environment of intolerance for such behavior. Military Family Life Consultants (MFLC's) are here to provide short-term counseling to those who may need assistance with personal, private matters.
Children, Youth and Teen Program
Consists of the Child Development Center, Family Child Care, The Quantico Youth Center, and the School-Age Care Program.
Exceptional Family Member Program
Provide assistance to service personnel with a family member(s) who has special medical and/or educational needs before, during and after relocation due to Permanent Change of Station (PCS) orders. An exceptional family member is defined as an authorized family member (spouse, child, stepchild, adopted child, foster child, or a dependent parent) residing with the sponsor who may require special medical or educational services based upon a diagnosed physical, intellectual or emotional handicap such as Asthma, Cerebral Palsy, Mental Retardation, Dyslexia, ADD, ADHD, Autism, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, or Depression. Disabilities may range from mild to severe.
Education Center (Scholarships)
Offers a variety of free educational services to Active Duty Military, family members, civilian employees and Reservists. Lifelong Learning's goal for our Quantico family is to provide the information and tools necessary to achieve their educational goals.
NAF Human Resources (Employment)
Offers Regular Full-Time and Part-Time postions and Flexible and Seasonal postions.
Family Member Employment Assistance Office
Provides Comprehensive Employment Related Services to Military Spouses and other Family Members and empowers military spouses with the tools necessary to achieve their goals through Career, Educational, Life Goals, or Volunteerism.
Single Marine Program
Provides a forum for Marines to identify quality of life ideas and issues and recommend solutions. Through participation in the planning and coordination of programs and activities, Marines have a direct influence in their execution.
