Profile Information

Are you a participant in an international exchange program?
yes
If so, what is the name of the program?
Fulbright Exchange
Please tell us a bit about yourself and why you joined ExchangesConnect.
I just recently moved back to the US in February to pursue a Masters in International Education at George Washington University. I had been living in Germany first as a Fulbright Language Teaching Assistant then as a freelance teacher. I worked with the ExchangesConnect team as an Intern in the Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs during the summer of 2011. I am continuing my career in International Education by working with IVLP, a Department of State exchange program. I enjoy working in a field where I can help people around the world connect with each other in meaningful ways.

Ms. H:

How are you? How are things in D.C.? How is the weather done there? I used to live in New York, so I fully understand what ' cold ' is. The reason I am messaging you today is that I have not heard from you for some time and that worries me. Is it because you haven't had time because of your studies or is it personal reasons? Either way, I will be pleasantly waiting for a conversation with you.

Peace

Dear Kyle H. :

I am also involved in international education. I am a semi-retired UN Advisor in Education. In 2008, I was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize for " ...networking global education administrators in order to understand other cultures, countries and specifically students in order to create a pathway to a sustained peace...". In order to attain that goal, I have created and copyrighted over one hundred and fifty different theories, formulae and practica. I have been to several countries including China ( where I was officially invited to have dinner with the Minister of Education in the Great Hall of the People ), Australia ( where I had dinner with the ex Prime Minister ), Jordan ( where I had dinner with as well as conversations with Princess Aliya ), Siberia, Russia ( where I was officially invited to give a speech in the Siberian Academy for Public Administration, a school that Gorbachev graduated from ), England ( where I gave speeches in Oxford and Cambridge ) and various others. I am currently conversing with David A. kolb, an eminent educator/philosopher in the field of experiential education in order to prepare an essay for the Internet based ' Encyclopaedia of Philosophy of Education '. I have also been invited to submit an article on poverty for the ' Journal of International Education '. I have been certificated by ETS to teach the ISLLC School Leadership Standards. I have been certificated also to assess undergraduate and graduate foreign students in reviewing their documents by the World Education Service. I have taken various seminars and courses in college administration practices one of which is given by the President of Hampton University. This conference is called the ' Executive Leadership Summit ' . This summit is a hands on approach to college executive practices for individuals that are either going to become or are already presidents, chancellors, deans or similar title. When I saw your bio I was extremely interested. I would be honored if we could continue this dialogue in the future including possibly learning from each other. Thank you for allowing me this time to talk to you.

Peace
