The Southeast Asia Resource Action Center (SEARAC) wishes to express our deepest condolences to the victims and their families impacted by the shooting that occurred on August 5, 2012 at the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin in Oak Creek. As an organization that stands in solidarity with other communities in pursuit of understanding and social justice, SEARAC would like to extend support to our Sikh allies during this difficult time. The diversity of America is what makes this country great—and this senseless act shows us that there is much more education needed about the communities that make up America. There is no room for hate.
