Mission:

196th Infantry Brigade provides training support and oversight to US Army Pacific active and reserve component forces IOT meet ARFORGEN aim points, validate Civil Support Team Readiness, and support US Theater Security Cooperation Programs.

On Order Provide:
 

  1. TAM evaluation teams to assist other USARPAC RC units.
     
  2. Reinforcement to the Bde staff in the execution of MSCA missions.
     
  3. Training support to other units as directed by Commander, 196th IN Brigade

Mission:

Advise and assist Alaska National Guard, US Army Reserve forces in order to meet ARFORGEN aim point, assist civil support team readiness and support US Theater Security Cooperation program. On Order support Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Capability (JPMRC) training exercises.

On order, provide:
 

  1. Defense Coordinating Officer and Element (DCO and DCE) for operations requiring Military Support to Civil Authorities (MSCA) in Alaska or
     
  2. the mobilization and/or demobilization assistance teams (MAT/DMAT) to support the mobilization and/or demobilization of RC units from throughout the United States Army, Pacifc Area Of Responsibilty.

Mission:

Provide training support in accordance with FORSCOM and USARPAC training guidance to the Guam Army National Guard and Army Reserve Marianas to ensure partnered units are fully prepared to deploy in support of Overseas Contingency Operations (OCO) and other operations as directed. O/O conducts Observer Controller/Trainer (OC/T) operations ISO 196th IN BDE training opportunities - Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Capability (JPMRC) implementation.

On order, provide:
 

  1. Guam's Defense Coordinating Element (DCE) for operations requiring Military Support to Civil Authorities (MSCA) in Guam and nearby islands, or
     
  2. The mobilization and/or demobilization assistance teams (MAT/DMAT) to support the mobilization and/or demobilization of RC units from Guam, Saipan, and Tinian.

Provide post-mobilization & partnership training to NG/RC units throughout the USARPAC AOR using latest theater lessons learned and tactics, techniques, and procedures in order to provide mission ready units to the designated Combatant Commander. Prepare and train individual replacements for deployment in support of Overseas Contingency Operations (OCO) and Theater Security Cooperation Missions.
