Hours of Operation
The visa section of the U.S. Consulate General Mumbai conducts nonimmigrant visa interviews by appointment only. Our business days are Monday through Friday, except for U.S. and Indian holidays. The Consulate is also closed to the public on the last Wednesday of every month.

    Visa Fraud
    You can confidentially report visa fraud by email. Be as specific as possible. Please include the person's name, date of birth, and passport number as well as your name and contact details.

    Lost or stolen Passport with U.S. Visa
    If your passport is lost, stolen or missing, immediately contact the U.S. Embassy or consulate that issued your visa with your passport number, name, and contact information.

    Deportation/Voluntary Departure
    If you have been deported ir you have voluntarily departed the U.S., please contact the U.S. Embassy or consulate that issued your visa with the details.
