Local employers head to MacDill AFB

During a recent ESGR trip, local Niagara and Erie county employers had the opportunity to tour The United States Special Operations Command at MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa Fla. Local employers head to MacDill AFB

Local Tim Hortons owner Robert Burns (on left) and his son Jared Burns inspect the cockpit of a KC-135. The two employers along with more than 35 other local employers had the opportunity to tour the KC-135 on a recent ESGR funded trip to the 927th Air Refueling Wing at MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa, Fla. Niagara Falls Reserve Station Bosses Day

On Aug. 8, bosses from both the New York Air National Guard?s 107th Airlift Wing and the Air Force Reserve?s 914th Airlift Wing were invited for an exclusive event designed just for them. Employers received a taste of the Guard/Reserve mission through demonstration, displays and were also able to come along for a ride.
