Shirley Patterson is the Assistant Director of Federal Employees Insurance Operations. She has the responsibility for the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program (FEHBP), Federal Dental and Vision Program, Flexible Spending Accounts Program, Federal Group Life Insurance and the Federal Long Term Care Program.
Ms. Patterson has over 35 years of experience with the FEHB Program. During this time she served as Contracting Officer for the Blue Cross and Blue Shield contract and has held several other positions pertaining to the FEHBP. She has also worked in private sector as an Administrator for a national health insurance company.
Ms. Patterson has a Bachelor of Science in mathematics from Livingston College, is a Certified Compensation Professional and is a Certified Employee Benefits Professional.
