8/29/2011 - MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan -- The Misawa Collocated Club hosted comedy night here Aug. 26. The show featured the comedic talents of Mr. Lav Luv, "C-Dawg" and Mr. Willie Brown and his sidekick "Woody". The two-hour show was filled with non-stop laughter as each comedian took the stage. More than 200 Misawa Air Base residents came out to enjoy the evening with friends and family.
Comedy night is held once per quarter at the club and this is the second show this year.
"Bringing entertainment like this to the Misawa community is important because it brings a little bit of 'home' to Misawa," said Mr. Paul Gotshall, 35th Force Support Squadron general manager. "Being able to support our military members and their families while they are far away from home is an honor."
The next event to be hosted by the Misawa Collocated Club will be an Armed Forces Entertainment show featuring the band "Saliva" on Oct 8.
