Description

This software supported scenario-based exercise is an intact team training that is designed to foster team work, critical thinking, and decision making skills applicable to the program management domain in general and is agnostic to discipline-specific subject-matter concerns. The simulation provides a role playing environment, based on learning through reflection on direct experience, to individual learners requiring them to solve program management challenges typically faced by defense program managers. This simulation is 8-hours long.

Objectives

Teamwork objectives include team communication, collaboration, colleague support, information exchange, leadership and initiative

Critical thinking objectives include interpretation, analysis and reflection, inference, judgment, self-regulation

Decision making and problem solving objectives include problem definition, assessing risks, strategy formation, evaluating decisions, monitoring outcomes

Target Attendees

The ITT simulation is envisioned to be offered to program, program directors, program executive officers, and directors.

Prerequisite(s)

Knowledge of DoD acquisition management system. Require to review read-ahead package.
