11/8/2012 - U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Charles Barkley Jr., 13th Aircraft Maintenance Unit dedicated crew chief, helps buckle Maj. Ryan Wartman, 14th Fighter Squadron pilot, into the seat of an F-16 Fighting Falcon, Nov. 7, 2012 at Misawa Air Base, Japan. Wartman test flew the last jet of the wing’s F-16 fleet to receive full upgrades. Upgrades include a new internal navigation system, avionics program and an on-board oxygen generating system, which will help increase the wing’s operational capability and improve Pacific Theater security.
