Maura Connelly, Embassy Political Minister Counselor, was the keynote speaker on March 8th at the International Women's Day event in Aberdare, Wales. Invited by Ann Clwyd, MP, Maura addressed about 50 people on the need to ensure that women are not discriminated against in education or the workplace. Officials of the Rhondda, Cynon, and Taff Borough Council presided.
