The ASU Rambelles softball team is consistently one of the top teams in the Lone Star Conference, region and nation. The program won the NCAA Division II National Championship in 2004 and has won four regional championships and six conference titles. The Rambelles won the 2012 LSC Championship and hosted the NCAA DII South Central Regional.

ASU’s Air Force ROTC Detachment 847 offers superb leadership training and provides job security after graduation. Graduates are commissioned as second lieutenants in the Air Force and begin careers with competitive wages and benefits.

A purebred Rambouillet ram, Dominic stands as a proud symbol of Angelo State University and the institution’s ties to the region and its people. He is a regular fixture at ASU activities, ranging from outdoor athletic events to the Alumni Association’s Official Ring Ceremony.
