2005 White House Conference on Aging
The 2005 White House Conference on Aging (WHCoA) took place on December 11 – 14, 2005 in Washington, DC. The conference brought together approximately 1200 delegates to make recommendations to the President and the Congress on how best to guide national aging policies. The 2005 White House Conference on Aging occurred as the first wave of the baby boom generation prepared for retirement, creating an important opportunity to creatively reassess aging in America and focus on the lives of older Americans.
