Runyan Legislation to Address VA Backlog Passes House
On Tuesday, the House of Representatives passed the Senate version of H.R. 1627, the Honoring America’s Veterans and Caring for Camp Lejeune Families Act of 2012, which originally passed the House of Representatives in October of 2011. This bill combined a number of bills that aimed to address veterans’ benefits and services. Among the bills that were included was H.R. 2349, the Veterans’ Benefits Act of 2011, sponsored by Congressman Jon Runyan (R-NJ).
