107th Airlift Wing


5/5/2011 - Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station, Niagara Falls, NY -- 
The 107 Airlift Wing Combined Arms team consisting of Security Forces
members MSgt Edward Stefik, TSgt Guy Carlo and SSgt's Erik Johnson and
Warren Jones were selected as the New York State 2011 Combat Sustainment
Training Exercise Match (TAG Match) overall champions. The 107 AW team
defended the honor after winning the 2010 TAG Match, once again competing
against teams from New York's Air And Army National Guard, New York Naval
Militia, New York Guard and other service component teams. Competitors were
required to shoot both the service pistol, rifle/carbine and machinegun in
a multitude of courses of fire, including several "shoot and move" combat
scenario events, over the two day competition held 30 Apr-1 May 2001 at Camp
Smith in Peekskill. The 107 AW team also was awarded several team and
individual awards in the various courses of fire in addition to the TAG
Match trophy.
