FAAXX013: Aviation Surface Weather Observation Network (ASWON) The FAA has developed a long-range equipment strategy for improving automated surface weather observations. Eight primary weather systems comprise the Automated Surface Weather Observation Network (ASWON).
FAAXX016: Integrated Terminal Weather System (ITWS) The Integrated Terminal Weather System (ITWS) will provide products to terminal aviation system users that characterize the current terminal weather situation and a forecast of anticipated weather conditions for the next 60 minutes.
FAAXX030: Aeronautical Information Management Program (AIM) The AIM Modernization program improves management of aeronautical information and provides aviation users with digital aeronautical information that conforms to international standards and supports NextGen objectives.
FAAXX032: Terminal Automation Replacement System (STARS) STARS is an ongoing, joint FAA/Department of Defense program to modernize our nation's terminal air traffic control facilities. It is a state-of-the-art, digital, radar and flight data processing system with Air Traffic Control color displays.
FAAXX084: Instrument Flight Procedure Automation (IFPA) The Instrument Flight Procedures Automation (IFPA) suite of tools is used to design, develop, and maintain instrument flight procedures that provide pilots with departure, en-route, and approach paths into and out of airports, clear of obstacles.
FAAXX155: Next Generation Air/Ground Communications  (NEXCOM) Segment 1a The NEXCOM system will provide pilot/controller communications for specific service volumes as currently employed in the NAS. This Exhibit is for NEXCOM Segment 1a Multimode Digital Radio, the ground based radio component of NEXCOM.

FAAXX224: Terminal Radar Digitizing, Replacement, and Establishment (TRDRE) The mission of the ASR-11 program is to replace the aging analog ASR-7/8 and ATCBI-4/5 (20 to 30 years old) radar systems with a single integrated digital primary and secondary radar system.
FAAXX248: Airport Surface Detection Equipment - Model X (ASDE-X) ASDE-X is designed to prevent accidents resulting from runway incursions. It provides air traffic controllers with a visual representation of airport surface traffic. Increased awareness is essential in reducing runway collision risks.
FAAXX294: ATC Beacon Interrogator Replacement (ATCBI-6) ATCBI Replacement (ATCBI-6) ensures aircraft positional information and identification remain available to support air traffic control services, including separation assurance, traffic management, navigation, and flight information.
FAAXX445: FAA Telecommunications Infrastructure (FTI) The FAA Telecommunications Infrastructure (FTI) services will replace most FAA-owned and leased telecommunications systems/services and consolidate their functions under a single service provider.

FAAXX504: En Route Automation Modernization (ERAM) ERAM replaces the Host computer system software/hardware, Direct Access Radar Channel (backup) sw/hw, other associated interfaces, communications and support infrastructure; enables implementation of emerging performance-based NAS capabilities.
FAAXX600: Oceanic Automation System: Advanced Technologies and Oceanic Procedures (ATOP) ATOP integrates flight and radar data processing, detects conflicts between aircraft, provides data link and surveillance capabilities, and automates the manual processes prevoiusly used.
FAAXX603: Traffic Mgmt Advisor-Single Cntr (TMA) The Traffic Management Advisor (TMA) system is an information technology tool that enables the FAA to land more aircraft at designated airports in a given amount of time.
FAAXX607: Terminal Automation Modernization and Replacement (TAMR) The TAMR program will provide funding for modernization and replacement of the automation systems used by controllers at 9 out of 115 of the FAA's Air Traffic Control Towers (ATCTs) and Terminal Radar Approach Control (TRACON) facilities.
FAAXX610: Aviation Safety Knowledge Management (ASKME/AVS) A program established to provide comprehensive automation for critical safety business processes for the Office of Aviation Safety through deployment of 18 integrated business solutions. First incremental solution deployed in FY08, EFS.
FAAXX612: System Approach for Safety Oversight (SASO/AVS) Improve safety with new approaches to certification, inspection, and surveillance activities integrating Flight Standards Service (AVS) tools and databases.
FAAXX703: System Wide Information Management (SWIM) The SWIM Segment 1 FID was approved on 7/15/2009. A Segment 2A JRC is planned in 2010 to baseline planning funds for FY11-12. Estimates for FY11-13 are inluded in the Life Cycle Cost table. A Segment 2B JRC is planned for 2012.

FAAXX805: NextGen R&D Safety, Security and Environment (SSE) NextGen emphasizes integrating safety, security, and environmental improvements into the design and development phases of new equipment.
FAAXX806: NextGen R&D Demonstrations and Infrastructure The Demonstrations and Infrastructure Development Solution Set (Demo) is designed to integrate demonstration projects and programs, provide validation of mature solutions, and demonstrate implementation alternatives for the NAS.

DOTXX129: Delphi Version Two (originally part of OSTXX001: Delphi) Support of DOT's current accounting system - Oracle version 11.5.10 is set to expire in 2013, creating a need for DOT to use Delphi Release 12. CGAC cannot be achieved through a systematic upgrade; therefore, data must be converted from the legacy system.
OSTXX001: Delphi (formerly consolidated within DOTxx072) Delphi is ThE DOT-wide financial management and accounting system of record. Delphi is a single instance, non-customized version of Oracle financials, a modern, commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) solution which automates best practices in financial mgmnt.

RITAX026: Integrated Airline Information System (consolidating RITAX004 and RITAX008-FY10 & beyond) IAIS integrates two disparate systems (RITAX004 and RITAX008) while improving data quality and providing improving access and analytical capabilities for the collection and dissemination of air carrier data such as traffic, performance and financial data.
