If newly elected U.S. Rep. Roger Williams, R-Austin, has his way, the 113th Congress will trim the executive branch so severely that Presidend Barack Obama will be flying commercial.
The 113th session of the U.S. Congress convened in Washington, D.C. Thursday, January 3.
But by Monday, January 7, Williams was back in District 25, meeting with his constituents in town hall meetings.

House Speaker John Boehner officially swore in Johnson County’s new Congressman Roger Williams on Thursday on the floor of the House of Representatives.
The One Hundred Thirteenth United States Congress is the next meeting of the legislative branch of the United States federal government, composed of the United States Senate and the United States House of Representatives. It is scheduled to meet in Washington, D.C. from January 3, 2013 to January 3, 2015.
