Even Paratroopers need help sometimes. You might find yourself in a situation where you have a financial emergency or need help fighting an addiction, or maybe you are even the victim of a sexual assault. If so, you are not alone. The Army has many programs that can help you overcome your problems.

Whether you're a wounded trooper or a new parent coping with a crying baby, trying to advance your education or trying to cope with stress, Military One Source is a catch-all resource for service members who want to know where to get help with issues or who want to know what benefits are available to them for serving.

If you have a substance abuse problem there is a way out. Paratroopers may refer themselves voluntarily to the Army Substance Abuse Program without fear of being prosecuted under the UCMJ. Don't wait to get caught, sign up for ASAP at the Soldier Support Center on Fort Bragg.

If you've ever been in a financial emergency you probably fantasized that you could just make the money you needed effortlessly appear out of nowhere. If you're in the Army, you almost can. Paratroopers can find themselves in a financial crisis for a number of reasons. AER is there to help out Soldiers in trouble with assistance for basic living expenses, for traveling on emergency leave and a number of other urgent needs.
