Health Risk Communication Program 

Mission

The Health Risk Communication Program (HRCP), offers a variety of training and consultation services to help military and government personnel strategically plan for effectively addressing public concerns related to health, environmental, deployment, homeland security, organizational conflicts, and similar issues that affect mission success. HRCP provides health risk communication expertise in promoting strategic relationships among stakeholders in order to build and maintain mutual respect and collaborative problem solving.  Risk communication addresses the emotions associated with an issue, agendas and misperceptions so the mission can be completed successfully. 

Services

  • Provide support identifying and analyzing issues, and developing strategic plans for engaging in productive dialogue to build strategic relationships with stakeholders.
  • Rapid reponse and crisis communication support.
  • Risk communication training courses, tailored to specific issues or mission needs.
  • Provide document review to incorporate effective risk communication concepts.
