ROMAN Fire Weather 24-Hour Trend Monitor

ROMAN has been designed for use by fire weather professionals and others requiring access to current fire weather conditions around the nation. Comments and suggestions for improvement are encouraged and can be sent to atmos-mesowest@lists.utah.edu.

The Fire Weather 24-Hour Trend Monitor provides access to current and 24-hr trend (change) information for all available weather stations within the selected region for any given time (e.g. current or historical data). The page reloads every 10 minutes when displaying current data. The Trend Monitor displays the most recent observation and the change from 24 hours before. Longer records of each station within the selected region are also available by clicking on a station, then clicking on 'Past Data' in the left hand menu.

Settings

The user can change the settings as follows: Time

The user can change the valid time in order to access 24-hr trend information for past dates/times. Doing this will: Tabular Format

Subregions within the geographic region of interest are defined as follows: Stations are ordered within subregions alphabetically by name. Click on 'Sort by elevation' to list stations within subregions from highest to lowest elevation.
