Dr. John D. Meyer, MD, MPH, is Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Occupational and Environmental Medicine and Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)/National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH)-funded residency training program in occupational medicine at the University of Connecticut. Dr. Meyer has served twice as chair of the Occupational Medicine Residency Directors Association and chairs the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM) Medical Research Fellowship Research Committee and Academic Policy Committee; he is also Director of the ACOEM Occupational Medicine Board Review Course. Dr. Meyer serves on the CDC/NOISH Study Section for Occupational Safety and Health.
