Who We Are

The Office of Habitat Conservation supports NOAA through three divisions:

• Habitat Protection Division
• NOAA Restoration Center
• NOAA Chesapeake Bay Office

Our nearly 190 staff members include scientists, policy analysts, GIS specialists, program managers, Sea Grant Fellows, NOAA Corps officers, budget analysts, educators, communicators, and administrative support. We interact with NOAA Fisheries Regional Offices and Science Centers, as well as partner with other NOAA programs and federal agencies, states, local communities, and nongovernment organizations to fulfill the office mission and advance the goals of NOAA.
