  • City files suit in federal court opposing Camelot Landfill expansion
    The City of Lewisville has filed a lawsuit in federal court seeking to block a request from City of Farmers Branch to expand the Camelot Landfill in Lewisville, and to stop operations at the landfill until documented environmental issued are corrected.
  • Trout stocking dates for Elm Fork announced
    Texas Parks & Wildlife, in conjunction with the City of Lewisville and the Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area, will stock the Elm Fork of the Trinity River with thousands of rainbow trout on three dates this winter as part of an ongoing program to boost the fish population and encourage recreational use of the river.
  • Christmas tree recycling available during the holidays
    Starting Dec. 14 and running through Jan. 18, Christmas trees can be dropped off at the Lewisville Lake Park soccer fields (near Lake Park Road and North Mill Street) to be recycled into mulch.
  • "Living Black and White" series returns to MCL Grand
    Pegasus Theatre will return to Lewisville later this month for another installment in its popular “Living Black and White” mystery plays. “XSR: Die!” will run for five shows Jan. 24-27 in the Performance Hall at the Medical Center of Lewisville Grand Theater.
  • "Hearts and Roses Ball" set for Feb. 2
    The popular "Hearts & Roses Ball" will be held Sunday, Feb. 2, at the Lewisville Convention Center for parents with their children ages 4-14.
