Micronesia and Palau

Nearly 4,260 Peace Corps volunteers have served in Micronesia and Palau since the program was established in 1966. Currently, 40 volunteers serve in Micronesia and Palau. Volunteers work in the area of education. Volunteers are trained and work in the following languages: Chuukese, Kosraean, Mortlockeese, Mwoakilese, Palauan, Pingelapese, Pohnepeian, Sapwuahfik, Ulithian and Yapese.
