The TKO program is designed to assist vendors in learning how to start and continue doing business with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). The TKO program offers a two day seminar and a one day workshop. Vendors are welcome to participate in both sessions. To ensure registration for the session of your choice and to alleviate possible scheduling conflicts, we encourage you to register as early as possible. All sessions are held at DLA Land and Maritime, located in Columbus, Ohio.
The TKO Seminar is an introductory session on teaching vendors how to start doing business with the Defense Logistics Agency. Vendors will be informed on how to find open solicitations, how to submit a quote through the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) quoting process, the procedures for viewing and downloading drawings, and how to use Wide Area Workflow (WWAF) to get paid.
The TKO Workshop is geared for vendors that are currently doing business with DLA where topics of discussion are Alternate Offers, Source Approval Requests, Breakout Program, and the Parts Purchase or Borrow Program.
Foreign National’s (FN’s) wishing to attend a session(s) must be sponsored by their host nation’s government or by an international organization and have an official visit request submitted to DLA through their respective embassy or international organization no later than 90 days prior to the session(s) they wish to attend. Please have your respective embassy or international organization submit this Official Visit Request to the TKO office at DSCC.BCC@dla.mil. If you have questions regarding this process please Contact Us.
Sessions fill fast, so early registration is key. If you experience difficulties with the registration process, please email the registration form to DSCC.BCC@dla.mil or call the TKO program assistant at (614) 692-3948.
