  • Outbound mail from Kuwait that weighs less than 13 ounces is postage free, but inbound mail to Kuwait requires postage.
  • We ask deploying soldiers not to pre-mail packages more than two days before they depart due to the volume of mail entering Kuwait.
  • IMPORTANT REMINDER:
Sending alcohol and pornographic material to the CENTCOM Area of Responsibility violates U.S. CENTCOM General Order Number 1A and the U.S. Postal Service Policy pertaining to non-mailable items for the Middle East geographical area. Sending alcohol, pornographic materials or other prohibited items through the military postal system is punishable under the Uniform Code of Military Justice, Article 92. Customs officials now open all parcels for inspection, causing a slowdown in the processing time and the forward movement of the mail.
  • If you are unsure an item you intend to send to someone in the U.S. CENTCOM AOR via the military postal system is authorized, please contact your local unit commander for further information.
