Transition to the System for Award Management (SAM)

The Department of the Interior, Interior Business Center's Acquisition Services Directorate would like to remind the vendor community about the transition to the System for Award Management (SAM). The General Services Administration (GSA) is moving the implementation date of the System for Award Management (SAM) Phase 1 from May 29, 2012 to the end of July 2012. The System for Award Management (SAM) is combining nine systems the federal community and those who want to do business with the government use regularly.

End of Fiscal Year 2011 Deadlines

The Department of the Interior, Interior Business Center’s Acquisition Services Directorate would like to remind our customers that the end of Fiscal Year 2011 is fast approaching. The last date for making contract awards for Fiscal Year 2011 is September 30, 2011. All contract awards and modifications must be complete by this date.
