LOCATION
The OB/GYN clinic is located on the EAST 10th floor of DDEAMC. There are two waiting areas, one located at the check in counter the other is down the hall near the exam rooms. If you have small children with you we ask that you wait in the front where we have provided toys for the little ones.

DDEAMC Obstetrics/Gynecology Service is a premier military health clinic, providing safe, high quality care and service to maximize the well being of all we serve.
MISSION
To improve women’s health for active duty service members and other military health care beneficiaries by taking a leadership role in the provision of high quality obstetrical and gynecological services in a responsible and caring manner. We will do this by providing a full range of OB/GYN services, promoting healthy lifestyles, and supporting health related education.
SCOPE OF SERVICES PROVIDED
This clinic provides full scope of obstetrics and gynecologic services. The Ob/Gyn Team takes care of routine and high-risk pregnancies to include antepartum fetal testing (assessment of fetal well-being and growth with ultrasound), genetic counseling, obstetric related surgeries (Cesarean sections, forceps, vacuum deliveries, amniocentesis, and cerclage). Maternal-fetal-medicine subspecialist in the community is utilized for special medical ultrasounds and consultation of certain rare medical conditions that complicate pregnancies. The DDEAMC OB/GYN Team and Family Practice Team work together to deliver Fort Gordon babies at Trinity Hospital. Trinity Hospital has an excellent Labor and Delivery Unit, postpartum unit, and provides world class Level I neonatal intensive care.
The Gynecology Service provides a full spectrum of surgical and non-surgical services. This includes management of ovarian, cervical and uterine disease, contraception, screening and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, infertility, incontinence, pelvic organ relaxation, and hormone replacement therapy. Our gynecologist performs various types of major and minor surgical surgeries. We perform minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries. We lead the gynecologic community in Augusta to perform in-office complicated gynecologic procedures such as sterilization, endometrial ablation, and hysteroscopy. This new technology allows women to quickly return to daily-activities-of-living.

OB/GYN PROVIDER
- There are 3 board certified and 1 board eligible OBGYN physicians that take care of all high risk pregnancies and perform OBGYN procedures.
- There are two women’s healths Advance Practice Registered Nurse Practitioners to care for routine pregnancy and OBGYN patients.
