MINOT AFB, N.D. – Capt. David Fink, 54th Helicopter Flight pilot, adjusts his helmet strap in a UH-1N "Huey" helicopter in preparation for takeoff here Sept. 2. Captain Fink, Maj. 620th AES forms in response to JTF Katrina

COLUMBUS AFB, Miss. - A helicopter crew, consisting of members from Malmstrom Air Force Base, Mont., and Vandenberg AFB, Calif., depart here for the Gulf Coast region to assist in JTF Katrina rescue and supply missions. 620th AES forms in response to JTF Katrina

COLUMBUS AFB, Miss. – Major LeRoy Reynolds, 341st Space Wing chief of flight safety at Malmstrom Air Force Base, Mont., performs final checks before boarding his aircraft here. The helicopter belongs to Vandenberg AFB, Calif., but 620th Air Expeditionary Squadron crews, comprised of members from five Air Force Space Command bases, are working as one team, mixing and matching flight engineers, pilots and helicopters. COLUMBUS AFB, Miss. – The T-38 “Tweet” airplanes and UH-1N “Huey” helicopters now share the runway here. The 620th Air Expeditionary Squadron, comprised of people, equipment and helicopters from four Air Force Space Command bases, stood up at Columbus Saturday in support of JTF Katrina.
