OMB Chief Issues Memorandum to Procurement Officials Regarding Inter-agency Aquisitions

Encouraging agencies to reduce waste by leveraging their "own buying power," the Administrator of the Office of Federal Procurement Policy, Dan Gordon, issued guidance designed to reduce duplication in acquisitions by increasing interagency contracting and information sharing.  This came out as a memorandum to Chief Acquisition Officer and Senior Procurement Executives on September 29, 2011.  As we discuss in the video series, this represents the type of communication that successful contractors need to stay tuned in to.
