DOE Meteorological Coordinating Council

The DOE Meteorological Coordinating Council (DMCC) coordinates meteorological support and atmospheric research to meet DOE objectives.

Emergency Public Information Subcommittee

The Emergency Public Information (EPI) Subcommittee is dedicated to promoting the exchange of EPI resources and lessons learned.

Exercise and Drill Subcommittee

The Exercise and Drill Subcommittee (Ex-Drill) focuses on sharing findings, information, and good practices relevant to effective conduct of emergency response exercise involving DOE sites and organizations.

Hazards Assessment Subcommittee

The Hazards Assessment Subcommittee (HASC) focuses on sharing findings, information, and good practices relevant to hazards identification, screening, and assessments that facilitate event characterization and other elements of site/facility emergency management programs.

The Subcommittee on Consequence Assessment and Protective Actions

The Subcommittee on Consequence Assessment and Protective Actions (SCAPA) provides DOE and its contractors with technical information and recommendations for emergency preparedness to assist in safeguarding the health and safety of workers and the public.

Continuity of Operations Subcommittee

The Continuity of Operations Subcommittee (COOPSC) provides a forum for interaction between DOE/NNSA and its contractors with common interests in identifying and resolving COOP issues throughout the DOE/NNSA complex.

Training Subcommittee

The Training Subcommittee (TS) provides assistance to DOE and the DOE complex by studying issues that affect training; recommending solutions; sharing training information; and monitoring feedback to promote continuous improvement in emergency management training.

First and Field Responders Subcommittee

Field and first responders recognized the vast differences in response methods and systems across the DOE complex and concluded that the formation of a working group of responders would be of mutual benefit.

Technology Working Group

The Technology Working Group (TECHWG) facilitates collaboration and information sharing related to technology.
