Participants will learn how to respond to acts of terrorism, including workplace violence, and how to develop and implement plans and procedures for responding to hijackings. Participants will learn how to gain access to a bus and resolve the incident with minimal public endangerment. Bombs, terrorist activities, and implementation of emergency procedures will be addressed. Two seminars are conducted at the host site due to participation of emergency responders. This course is included in the Deparment of Homeland Security's Federal Sponsored Course Catalog for grant considerations.
