IF YOU ARE ENROLLING FOR SOMEONE ELSE, you will need to create a new user account for that person and then enroll them into the class. This course will provide participants with the basic understanding of transit systems and their components and knowledge and skills to effectively comply with or implement elements of the Rail Fixed Guideway Systems, State Safety Oversight (SSO) Regulation (49 CFR, Part 659), as well as project management oversight. This course is a prerequisite for new SSO personnel entering the three tiers of FTA funded training for SSO program managers.
