This course is designed for Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Federal agency personnel or applicable support personnel responsible for participation in or support of investigations of aircraft accidents and incidents, viz., operations and airworthiness inspectors, aircraft certification office engineers, manufacturing inspectors, and safety program managers responsible for investigations of helicopter accidents, as well as engineering support personnel, and safety program managers. This course is also open to industry personnel who may be interested in learning rotorcraft accident investigation techniques. No previous helicopter experience is required. Persons with helicopter experience should attend to gain valuable rotorcraft investigation training. This course will be offered to all other Federal agencies, foreign governments, and industry personnel on a first-come, first-serve basis.
