11/8/2012 - SHEPPARD AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Three Team Sheppard senior master sergeants were part of 454 senior NCO's selected for promotion to chief master sergeant, according to a list released by Air Force officials Nov. 8.  Chief master sergeants make up less than one percent of the total enlisted force.

In total, those selected represent 22.9 percent of the 1, 9081 who were eligible.

The average score of those selected was 665.4, with an average of 3.04 years time in grade and 22.30 years time in service. The average score was based on 135.00 points for enlisted performance reports, 24.49 for decorations and 67.73 for the Air Force fitness examination.

The chief master sergeant selects are as follows:

- Senior Master Sgt. Eric Green, 364th Training Squadron

- Senior Master Sgt. David Nye, 372nd Training Squadron

- Senior Master Sgt. Thomas Spitzer, 361st Training Squadron
