FY12 Early Career Research Program solicitation

The Office of Science has just announced its FY12 Early Career Research Program. Scientists who received their Ph.D. no earlier than 2001 are eligible to apply in topical areas aligned with the mission of the Office of Science and the Laboratory.

This year’s process is similar to last year's.  A preproposal is required (due Thursday, 9/1, 11:59 pm). Details are specified in the solicitation. The individual PI is responsible for this submission. If encouraged by Office of Science to a full proposal (feedback will be provided no later than 10/3/11), full proposals will be due November 29th and coordination with the Laboratory’s Office of Science Program Office is required.

We will host a townhall meeting on this solicitation on Thursday, 7/28 at 10:00 am in the C Division Auditorium (TA46 Bldg 535 Room 103) and shortly, relevant information will be available at the Office of Science Program Office website: science.lanl.gov.

Please forward this message broadly to potentially eligible colleagues.

Thanks for your interest in Office of Science Programs; we look forward to working with all of you on another successful Early Career Research Program solicitation.
