Team Scott
Scott Air Force Base is a global mobility and transportation hub for the Department of Defense. The base is home to several command and control elements that represent logistics for the United States military in air, over land and across the sea in a true joint environment that brings together the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard members--active duty, Guard and Reserve!
Team Scott partners are collectively responsible not only for managing the global mobility missions around the world, but also aeromedical evacuation, senior leader airlift and aerial refueling capabilities for the Air Force and DoD. Scott AFB is home to some of the nation's most important organizations--including U.S. Transportation Command, Air Mobility Command, the 618th Air and Space Operations Center (Tanker Airlift Control Center), and Air Force Network Integration Center, which are just a few of the 30 tenant units stationed here.
It's also one of four bases in the Air Force to host both a Reserve unit, the 932nd Airlift Wing, and an Air National Guard unit, the 126th Air Refueling Wing. The 375th Air Mobility Wing makes possible the command and control of the United States' entire military transportation effort-- the logistics efforts of the world's greatest military in the air, on the ground and over the sea. Together, we execute every Air Mobility Command sortie worldwide, in peace and in war.
375th Air Mobility Wing
As the host wing for Scott AFB, its mission it to enable the numerous Team Scott missions through infrastructure and communications support platforms, as well as provide programs and facilities for the welfare of the men and women and their families who serve here.
The wing's operational mission is to provide unrivaled air mobility operations through its fleet of C-21 aircraft and through its Total Force Integration partnerships with the Guard and Reserve in flying KC-135 and C-40 aircraft.
The wing owns 16 C-21As including two NC-21s operating from four locations: Scott AFB, Joint Base Andrews, Md., Peterson AFB, Colo., and Will Rogers Airport in Oklahoma. The wing provides maintainers and aircrews for the KC-135 and C-40 missions who work alongside Guard and Reserve personnel, who also have operation control of the aircraft and the missions.
Together, the wing provides DV airlift for senior leaders and flies aeromedical evacuation missions for wounded warriors and medical patients, and provides the nation with air refueling capabilities.
The wing's mission is also to develop and care for Airmen and their families while fostering base and community partnerships.
The 375th AMW is comprised of several staff agencies and four groups: the 375th Medical Group, 375th Operations Group, 375th Mission Support Group and 375th Communications Group, totally approximately 3,500 active-duty personnel who perform those missions.
