Medicare
Medicare is the federal health insurance program that covers 45 million American seniors, including nearly 750,000 Minnesotans. Medicare was enacted in 1965 under President Johnson and fulfills our responsibility to ensure that older Americans can retire with dignity and have access to health care when they need it most. The reality is that we’ll all need these services some day, and I’m committed to making sure that Minnesota seniors continue to have the Medicare benefits they need.
