Pending Official Zoning Map is Available
To help the City of Fayetteville achieve the Strategic Plan and Vision 2030 – stable, livable neighborhoods that hold value, a more attractive city, a strong economy, and, overall, a great place to live - the City’s Development Services Department has been working hard on a Unified Development Ordinance (UDO). This historic piece of legislation and the pending Official Zoning Map are available on the City website by clicking here.
Fayetteville Wins All-America City Award
After a spirited, patriotic presentation Thursday that featured marching, singing soldiers from the 82nd Airborne All-American Chorus, the City of Fayetteville was selected Friday night in Kansas City as an All-America City Award winner for the third time in its history. A delegation of approximately 60 people, including local officials and children, described to a panel how Fayetteville has shed its former "Fayettenam" image and became a cleaner, thriving community with a strong economy.
Boards & Commissions
The City of Fayetteville relies on its citizen advisory boards and commissions to aid its Mayor and City Council in governing effectively. The citizens who volunteer for these positions are the link that connects the public to its governing body and are the advisors who make recommendations that ultimately shape the future of Fayetteville. Welcome Message
